Matt Hall,President & Chris Ziems, Vice President
Matt and Chris started their career at a local timber company after graduating from the forestry programs at West Virginia University and Glenville State College. In 2002, they decided to branch out on their own and founded High Mountain Timber, LLC.
They spend their days hustling around the yard, and their evenings discussing future HMT goals and planning retirement!
Jason Brock, Lead Forester
Jason graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Forestry. He has been with High Mountain Timber since 2006. Jason is HMT's lead forester and is responsible for all our timber buying and management.
When Jason is not working he enjoys hunting, fishing and cheering his kids on at sporting events!
Meghan Hall, Office Manager
Meghan is a West Virginia University graduate and has been residing in Elkins, West Virginia with her family for over 30 years now. She manages the office along with human resources and billing.
She is the proud grandmother of 2 grandpuppies, whom you'll get to visit in the office, if they are not out on a delivery!
Samantha Hall, Director of Sales and Marketing: By-Products Division
Samantha grew up in Elkins, WV and graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Communication & Public Relations with a minor in Business. She was also a varsity member of the Swimming and Diving program. With the growth of the By-Products division, Samantha was brought on to drive sales to local consumers and businesses.
In her free time she enjoys camping, skiing and travelling with her family.
